AUSTIN, TX: The Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas has hired Hill+Knowlton Strategies as its AOR.
The state agency is responsible for investing up to $3 billion in cancer programs and services throughout Texas. H+K will implement a strategic communications program to increase awareness of the institute on a state and national level. The firm's Austin office will manage the account.
Bill Gimson, the organization's executive director, said in a statement that the group was impressed by H+K's strategic thinking as well as its deep understanding of and dedication to the institute's core mission of finding ways to beat cancer.
Baby-care brand NUK also hired H+K as its AOR last month.
