Have the 'evangelists of authenticity' gone too far?

Authenticity was a topic of conversation in just about every session I attended. But what took me by surprise was the depth of fervor among "evangelists of authenticity" who believe that telling it like it is — raw and unfiltered — is the Holy Grail of effective communication and engagement.

My head hurts! On Sunday, the rain finally cleared and it turned into an incredible day here in Austin, TX. I don't think that I am alone in saying that I tried my darnedest to make up for lost time over the past 24 hours and experience the outdoor craziness that is SXSW.
