In its 15th year, Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (FTBC) - a fashion industry philantropic initiative organized by The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) - has announced a new collaborative grassroots effort called Fashion Targets Summer Fridays. The CFDA and Susan G. Komen for the Cure partnered with Net-A-Porter.com to sell a Ralph Lauren-designed polo shirt on the site. The organizations will encourage consumers to wear the shirt on summer Fridays until September 25th, to raise funds for the breast cancer organization, according to a press release.

FTBC also partnered with beauty brand Jurlique to host Fashion Targets Summer Fridays in-store events in New York, Santa Monica, and San Francisco in July and August.  Jurlique will also offer a FTBC product set at its stores and on www.jurlique.com.
