During introductions for the competition, broadcast on ESPN, contestant Tim “Eater X” Janus held up a sign (spoiler alert) saying, “Hermione dies.”

Now, common sense would tell you that Janus’ statement is just a guess (I mean, come on, the back of his sign said, “On the seventh day God created Hartford"), but sometimes guesses end up being
right.
