BALTIMORE: Jeff Smokler has joined Imre as SVP in its healthcare practice.

Previously, he served as SVP in Powell Tate's healthcare practice. Smokler has also worked as executive director for strategic communications at the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association and director of communications at the American Health Care Association.

Imre expanded its social media practice last month.
