NEW YORK: PMK-BNC has hired Omar Gonzales as VP of national publicity.

Previously, Gonzales was director of publicity at Focus Features, where he developed and executed publicity and awards campaigns for the company's films, including premieres and special projects.

Gonzales has also worked as a publicist at DreamWorks SKG.
