WWD reports that
Percy Savage, a PR executive after whom the
Dior fragrance Eau Sauvage was named, died in London on Tuesday at the age of 81. In Paris in the sixties, Savage served as head of PR at Lanvin. In the seventies, he helped set up Yves Saint Laurent's business in London, and, as his friend Winston Cuthbert tells
WWD, he influenced the establishment of London Fashion Week.
