GRAND RAPIDS, MI: Zondervan, the Christian publishing division of HarperCollins, hired Jason Vines as VP of PR and communications. Vines, who in the past served as a communication executive at Nissan, Ford, and Chrysler, will manage product publicity and direct all internal and external communications initiatives for Zondervan and its divisions, which include Bibles, trade books, and youth specialties.
