LOS ANGELES: The Writers Guild of America has hired Bill Carrick and Kam Kuwata, both prominent California political consultants, to advise them during the ongoing writers strike. WGA spokesman Gregg Mitchell confirmed the hirings, which took place last month, to PRWeek.
