SAN FRANCISCO: The WeissComm Group has acquired Common Sense Media Group, a start-up social media firm founded by Bob Pearson, the former VP of communities and conversations at Dell. The company made the announcement today, May 27.

Pearson was named chief technology and media officer for WeissComm and will run the social media practice, said Jim Weiss, chairman, CEO, and founder of WeissComm Group, the parent company of WeissComm Partners and Invigorate Communications.
