DALLAS: Weber Shandwick Southwest has promoted EVP Neil Nowlin to GM of the agency's Dallas, Austin, and Houston offices, replacing the firm's former Southwest president Jody Venturoni, who joined Hill+Knowlton Strategies as EVP in January.

Shortly after Venturoni's appointment to EVP, Weber sought and was granted a temporary restraining order against Hill+Knowlton, Venturoni, and COO Ken Luce, also a former Weber employee, for allegedly stealing confidential information, clients, and employees. In February, a Dallas district judge extended the restraining order through May 4.
