NEW YORK: Weber Shandwick has promoted Tim Fry to chair of its global technology practice, effective immediately.
Fry will spend most of his time in Weber's Northern California operations to boost the firm's presence in the sector. He will also continue to lead the agency's global client relationship leader program, according to a memo on the appointment obtained by PRWeek. Fry has worked with clients such as Microsoft, Motorola Mobility, and Samsung, among others, according to an agency statement.
