BASKING RIDGE, NJ: Verizon has promoted Torod Neptune to head of corporate communications for Verizon Wireless. He started in the new role July 13.
Neptune leads national media relations, social media and digital strategy, executive messaging, employee communications, and community relations for Verizon Wireless, a joint venture of Verizon Communications and Vodafone. He oversees a team of about 50 staffers and reports to Verizon CCO Peter Thonis and Verizon Wireless president and CEO Dan Mead.
