GAINSVILLE, VA: The US Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has tapped ECU Communications to develop a public education and outreach plan. The deal includes two, one-year extension options worth $10 million in total.
ECU will implement programs to promote USCIS' employment information services, called E-Verify and Save. E-Verify is a free, Web-based system, operated jointly by USCIS and the Social Security Administration, which allows employers to electronically verify the employment eligibility of their employees.
