WASHINGTON: The US Postal Service (USPS) selected Weber Shandwick as AOR for strategic messaging, including crisis communications, on February 24 after a more-than-four-month RFP process. Joanne Veto, senior PR specialist at the postal service, confirmed the win to PRWeek.
It has a value of approximately $1 million per year, according to a USPS work statement. The account, which mandates communications with the media, general public, and postal employees, runs for two years with three additional one-year options.
