WASHINGTON DC: UPS has recruited Nicholas Lewis as public affairs manager in its battle to 'level the playing field' with the US Postal Service.
Lewis was previously director of Government relations for the National Association of Postmasters of the United States of the United States.
But in his new private sector role he will be lobbying to put the Postal Service under the same kind of pressures as other businesses as it moves into competitive markets such as overnight delivery. ...
