NEW YORK: On July 11 (World Population Day), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) will be kicking off 7 Billion Actions, a global campaign to raise awareness about the world's climbing population.
The initiative was created by UNFPA to spread the message that world population is anticipated to reach 7 billion on October 31, 2011. With this milestone on the way, UNFPA wants everyone around the globe to unite and join the campaign in order to help make the world a better place.
