LOS ANGELES: Fernando Oaxaca, a pioneer of Hispanic PR, has passed away.

Oaxaca was the founder of Coronado Communications, one of the first agencies in the Southern California area to specialize in Latino PR.

A diverse entrepreneur, Oaxaca co-founded Hispanic ad agency Cruz/Kravetz IDEAS and owned Spanish-language radio stations.
