Tesco has taken out a full-page ad in UK national newspapers to apologize for selling hamburgers that contained horsemeat. Rival grocery chain Morrisons has taken the opportunity to promote its 100% beef burgers.
Tesco has run the ad in The Times, Daily Telegraph, Guardian, Independent, Sun, Mirror, Daily Express, and Daily Mail apologizing for the "serious problem" and guaranteeing a full refund.
