NEW YORK: Despite the growing importance of PR among Fortune 500 firms, New York PR professionals remain insecure about their image.
According to a survey released this month by the New York chapter of the PRSA the survey, PR practitioners appear to have a Rodney Dangerfield complex. Two-thirds of the respondents believed that PR does not have a good image and its professionals lack the same level of respect as other professionals such as doctors or lawyers.
