SUNNYVALE, CA: Karen Kahn, VP of global communications at Sun Microsystems, departed the company last month. Kahn was among the company's global communications leadership, working on executive communications, AR, corporate/product PR, customer references, and Web-based editorial and social media. She also worked as the company's spokesperson related to its acquisition last year by Oracle. Sun CEO Jonathan Schwartz resigned earlier this year. Kahn tells PRWeek she plans to take time off before looking for a new opportunity.
