BLOOMINGTON, IL: State Farm Insurance has selected Weber Shandwick as its lead agency. The company discussed its plans to conduct a selective review in November 2008.

Phil Supple, director of external relations, confirmed the selection, saying WS will work with the company's other firms, but declined to elaborate further.

The agency's Minneapolis, Chicago, and Dallas offices will work on the account, according to Julie Hurbanis, SVP of WS' consumer marketing practice.
