CHICAGO: Res Publica Group, a Chicago-based strategic communications firm, has named Steve Patterson VP. He will start working at the agency in mid-October.
Previously, Patterson was communications director in the office of Cook County, IL, sheriff Tom Dart. He is also a former political and investigative journalist who has worked at the Chicago Sun-Times and the Gary Post-Tribune.
