NEW YORK: An e-mail transmission error caused by PRWeek's third-party vendor company, Adicio, resulted in user names and passwords of some registered users of PRWeekJobs.com to be sent to other users. The problem also caused some of the 2,500 who were affected to get a flood of unwanted e-mails, and for their e-mail addresses to be visible to others in the transmission.
Their accounts were immediately disabled and no known security breach has occurred.
