LANHAM, MD: Vocus announced $96.8 million in revenue for 2010, a 14% year-over-year increase from 2009, but profit was down roughly $1 million from the previous year.
In its fourth quarter earnings statement, the company also announced its acquisition of Engine140, a San Francisco-based company that makes software to help brands and small companies build a Twitter presence. Terms of the deal, which closed on December 23, were not disclosed.
