WASHINGTON: President Barack Obama aided the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) effort to prepare consumers for the June 12 digital TV transition by releasing a statement warning that the deadline is final.
"I want to be clear: there will not be another delay," the president said in a June 4 statement. "I urge everyone who is not yet prepared to act today, so you don't lose important news and emergency information on June 12."
