NEW YORK: Interpublic Group has named Andy Polansky, president of Weber Shandwick since March 2004, CEO of the PR agency, replacing Harris Diamond.
Diamond on Tuesday was named chairman and CEO of ad agency network McCann Worldgroup, replacing Nick Brien. Diamond was appointed CEO of Weber in 2001. Two years later, he assumed oversight of most of the holding company's PR agencies in its Constituency Management Group.
