LOS ANGELES: Point Media, a marketing and broadcast firm, launched. The agency was created by Stacie Hunt, cofounder of the now-closed On the Scene Productions, and Jim Bowling and Maya Burghardt, two On the Scene colleagues. On the Scene filed for bankruptcy and let go of its employees in fall 2009.
