Robert Gibbs, Barack Obama's communication chief, "has won... the label of 'the enforcer'," according to a profile in today's Wall Street Journal.

Gibbs carries out various media relations and messaging duties on Obama's behalf, as well as ensures that Obama stays upbeat, the Wall Street Journal reports. Gibbs served as Obama's communications chief during his senate run in 2004, and assumed the same role for the presidential campaign.
