NEW YORK: New York Women in Communications Foundation (NYWIC) appointed Joan Cear, MD at G.S. Schwartz & Co., as president of its board of directors. Cear, who has been a member of NYWIC for ten years, will serve as foundation president for one year and will guide the development of student-oriented career education programs, scholarship programs, and fundraising initiatives.
