Nuclear Threat Initiative names Kitchens chief comms officer
WASHINGTON: The Nuclear Threat Initiative, an organization that aims to reduce the global threat of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons, hired Mark Kitchens as chief communications officer in May. Kitchens, the former SVP of communications and strategy at the AARP, reports to Charles Curtis, president and COO. He replaced Brooke Anderson, who is now chief of staff and counselor for the United States Mission to the United Nations.
