SAN FRANCISCO: O. John Haering has been named acting president ofThe Montgomery Group after the death of Stephen D. Pisinski, founder andpresident of the company. Haering has been with the company since 1997,serving as senior vice president through 2000 and, most recently, in thecapacity of senior counselor.
