NEW YORK: The National Black Public Relations Society has elected Edelman executive Zing Shaw as secretary on its board of directors.
Shaw started in the role November 11, immediately following her election by the nine-member board. She will focus on programming, particularly for the organization's 2013 conference and career fair, as well as operational duties such as record keeping and providing meeting minutes. The position has a two-year term.
