SAN FRANCISCO: Software company Meltwater has acquired year-old Silicon Valley upstart BuzzGain, a social media monitoring company. The platform will support Norway-based Meltwater's existing social media monitoring service, Meltwater Buzz.
BuzzGain's engineering team of 25 employees has joined Meltwater, along with BuzzGain's founder and CEO Mukund Mohan, who will contribute to the expansion of Meltwater Buzz globally.
