BATTLE CREEK, MI: Kellogg leveraged a relationship with social media agency Katalyst Media, cofounded by Ashton Kutcher, to develop a high-profile Web initiative benefiting hunger-relief charity Feeding America.

The effort is part of Kellogg's ongoing CSR effort with the organization, as well as the last part of a four-phase, donation-driven campaign that Kellogg launched in April to address a growing need for food product and funds across the US, explained Kris Charles, VP of global communications at Kellogg.
