Journal Register Company names new editor-in-chief

YARDLEY, PA: Local news provider Journal Register Company has appointed Jim Brady to the new role of editor-in-chief, in which he will oversee news coverage and the company's newsgathering operations.

Brady joined the company in March to lead Project Thunderdome, a digital transformation of its newsrooms. He previously served as executive editor of WashingtonPost.com, and has worked for America Online. Brady is also founder and GM of TBD, a local news operation focused on the Washington, DC, area.
