The five-year anniversary of the US-led invasion of Iraq is giving the presidential candidates, as well as President Bush, a chance to reiterate their Iraq policy plans.
President Bush is expected to make a speech today saying the war is worth the “high cost in lives and treasure,” Bloomberg reports.
The anniversary is also giving the Scottish army a news hook to a launch recruitment drive. The campaign, titled “To the Best,” will launch advertisements that elicit support for soldiers.
