Institute for PR's revenues slip in 2008
GAINESVILLE, FL: The Institute for Public Relations revenues dropped to $834,680 in 2008, down slightly from $867,631 in 2007, the organization reported this week. The Institute had a net loss of $92,435, reflecting "the Board-approved strategic plan to build programming," the group said.
Expenses were broken down into programs of research, education, and bridging the academic and practitioner communities (82%), fundraising (6%), and management and general expenses (12%). A full audit is available online.
