WASHINGTON: The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) hired Ogilvy PR Worldwide to develop a campaign with the agency's Office of Public Health and Science that will raise awareness with consumers and healthcare providers about healthcare-associated infections (HAIs)
The campaign is part of a national initiative announced by HHS in January 2009 to reduce HAIs, said Jennifer Buschick, deputy director of communications for the Office of Public Health and Science.
