WASHINGTON: The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, a new nonprofit funded by the healthcare law, hired GolinHarris for PR support after a competitive bid.
Pat Nichols, president of Transition Leadership International, the consulting firm that issued the RFP, confirmed that GolinHarris had been awarded the six-month contract on February 4.
Nichols said that eight firms were involved in the pitch although he declined to provide additional information.
