Google offered a preview of its Friend Connect, which will give users the ability to add social networking features to most any Web site. The Friend Connect intro comes three days after the announcements of Facebook Connect and MySpace's Data Availability, which offer similar capabilities. For now, only a few sites work with Friend Connect, but a wait list is underway and dozens of sites are expected to be added in the coming days.
