WASHINGTON: Direct Impact, Burson-Marsteller's grassroots campaign agency, welcomed Craig Veith as its new CEO last week and made chairmen of its two founding partners.

Veith, a former communications director for the National Republican Congressional Committee, was most recently the chairman of Burson's US media practice.

While at Burson, he worked with Monsanto and Bethlehem Steel, among other major clients.
