NEW YORK: Amanda Ruisi, former senior press manager for NBC Universal Entertainment Publicity, launched her own firm, AKR PR, in January. The agency will focus on celebrity brands, entertainment, and lifestyle and will have offices in New York and Los Angeles. Current clients include Akonic Entertainment, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag's Pratt Productions, a new Kardashian project, MTV Jersey Shore talent Vinny Guadagnino, and celebrity ringtone and mobile marketing company Swagger Mobi.
