CHARLOTTE, NC: Duke Energy tapped Ginny Mackin from Wells Fargo as SVP and chief communications officer following the retirement of Cathy Roche.
Mackin, former EVP and director at Wells Fargo, starts August 18. She will report to Roberta Bowman, SVP and chief sustainability officer at Duke, with responsibility for communications strategy and services. Wells Fargo said it does not plan to hire a replacement for Mackin.
