NEW YORK: As shareholders approved News Corp's acquisition of Dow Jones (DJ) on December 13, the ax fell in DJ's corporate communications department.
Linda Dunbar, the company's VP of communications, was let go at the deal's approval. Also released was Mark Donohue, the company's director of IR.
Howard Hoffman, DJ's remaining corporate communications director, will turn his focus to internal communications.
