WASHINGTON: The District of Columbia Housing Authority has hired Lake Research Partners and The Metropolitan Group to develop a strategic communications plan for the organization.

The authority is Washington's largest landlord, managing 8,000 apartment units. It also works with private landlords to provide affordable accommodations for 12,600 households each year and spends $300 million per year in federal Housing and Urban Development grants.
