NEW YORK: Current TV has hired Laura Nelson, former MD at The Gilbride Group, as SVP of communications.
Nelson will lead PR efforts, including corporate communications, internal communications, program publicity, and executive communications at the network.
At the Gilbride Group, she worked with clients such as NBC Universal, the United Nations Foundation, and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria.
