RICHMOND, VA: After just seven months as president of Carter Ryley Thomas PR (CRT), J.R. Hipple has quit, citing the desire to spend more time with family.

With his resignation, Hipple is ceding all equity in the firm, and must adhere to a one-year non-compete clause.
