NEW YORK: Both PR firms and in-house PR departments said overwhelmingly that they are satisfied with the level of ethnic and racial diversity among their staffs, finds a new PRWeek/Hill & Knowlton survey.

These results come despite widespread recognition that the profession is lacking in ethnic and racial diversity.

The survey found that 81% of private companies, 75% of public companies, and 73% of PR agencies said they were satisfied with their diversity levels.
