CNW Group takes on Marketwire with its social media release
TORONTO: CNW Group has launched its own “social media release.” The product roll-out comes three months after rival Marketwire launched its own “social media 2.0 press release format” in Canada.
Joe Vecsi, manager of corporate communications at CNW Group, said they spent about a year consulting with the social media community, and then about six months in the product development phase.
